Basic tuition to get you started with using your smartphone and a few tips and tricks you may not know. This is aimed at beginners but those who have been using their phones for a while might learn something new!
Napier Libraries, in partnership with Stepping Up: Digital Skills for Life and Digital Inclusion Alliance Aotearoa, have put together a range of free digital skills workshops for the community. These workshops cover a selection of topics including smartphones, eBooks and internet banking, how to access free movies using Kanopy, reading newspapers & magazines online, keeping safe online, and using video calls and messaging apps to keep connected with friends and family. These topics vary term to term. If you book into a class but then cannot attend, please contact us so that we can offer your place to someone on the waiting list.
