Seed Library

What is a Seed Library?

Like the name suggests, a Seed Library is a collection of seeds that people are able to "borrow" from. A Seed Library is stocked by donations, so borrowers are encouraged to "return" the seeds saved from the plants they grew from the seeds they borrowed. This means that the Seed Library stays stocked for everyone to enjoy!

You can of course still use the Seed Library if you are unable to return the seeds you have borrowed.

Who can use the Seed Library?

The Seed Library is for anyone! You don't even need to be a Napier Libraries member to borrow seeds.

How do I get started?

We have compiled some resources below to help get you started. If you are a Napier Libraries member, you can borrow books from our collection to help get you started. Check out our catalogue here
