Taradale Library temporary closure for air conditioning upgrade

Work is well underway to replace the existing air-conditioning system at Taradale Library – a much needed upgrade that will enhance the comfort levels for library users, especially during the warmer months of summer.

In order to complete the next stage of work, Taradale Library will be closed with limited services available from Monday November 7th - Sunday November 20th.

While Taradale library is closed, we will still be offering the following services at this location, Monday - Sunday from 10am – 4pm:
· Selection of grab bags available
· Returning items
· Limited browsing
· New library memberships
· Koha books
· Assistance in setting up library online services

Our Napier Library will also be open Monday - Saturday during this time.

We'll still be out and about in the community as our Mobile Library now offers item reserve pick up at all our locations. More information can be found on our dedicated page.

We also continue to offer our successful home delivery service! This wonderful free service brings the library to you, offering contactless delivery of your reserve items or themed grab bags. We can even collect your returns and take them back to the library for you! To book a home delivery or find out more, click here.
